We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong Technical Project and Product Management background. This is a Senior level position requiring the job incumbent to have a strong vision and thorough knowledge of bringing a product or project to life. They should be able to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements along with providing leadership to their team throughout their employee lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take 100% ownership of product development activities from technical perspective
- Understand business goals/requirements, meet stakeholders’ current & future needs, integrate with current applications smoothly and deliver results with 100% guaranteed quality
- Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
- Perform all necessary functions to effectively manage and provide technical leadership to a team of Software Engineers throughout the employee life cycle – hiring, motivating, providing guidance, and performance management
- Provide technical direction on systems analysis, design, development, testing and deployment
- Manage, lead, and perform hands-on implementation of new technology, as well as required documentation
- Ensure completed assignments meet deadlines and standards
- Communicate status to stakeholders
- Maintain up to date projects/tasks list, show tasks in different states and allocate and utilize resources effectively
- Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science from a well-reputed institution
- 5 + years’ experience in technical project and product management
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiation skills
- Proven hands-on experience of developing complex and enterprise level web applications
- Advanced expertise in JEE based frameworks, Dot Net framework and databases
- Expertise to manage the migration from monolith to microservices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Extensive experience in all phases of the application development lifecycle
- Practical experience of managing team and tasks using agile development models like scrum etc.
- Strong technical background to be able to challenge proposed solutions
